Have you ever asked yourself if what it feels like to be in the golden times? Like listening to the fresh MJ songs, dancing to the beat of Rock'n'Roll with Elvis Presly's songs, singing country and love songs by the Carpenters and even finding to boogie the night away with the beatles.
That is what exactly happened to me today. While tuning the radio to my usual and favorite radio station, i fount out that they are actually reliving the golden times the generations we have now. I then asked myself again. Why are still they doing that? I mean we all love to hear Secondhand Serenade, Plain White T's, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and maybe to hear MCR songs once in a while, red hot chili peppers and linkin park.
Then i came to one simple realization:
Time really crawls.
I also would like you to feel that it's really good to be back. even if i myself was not able to hear the original songs during their original eras, i was at least able to be in the shoes of my love ones like my mother and father who really love those kind of songs. It's really good to feel their feelings during their time. If only i can just invent the time machine, i would really love to go the golden times and be amazed on how they turn the fresh songs into classical songs.
but then, questions came into my mind.
Will:
- Britney's 'Toxic'
- Christina's 'Fighter'
- MCR's 'Helena'
- Linkin Park's 'Paper Cut'
- 2ne1's 'I Don't Care'
- Second Hand Serenade's 'Your Call'
- and other songs we have now, be played 25-30 years from now during the radio station's backtrax program?
Let's just see and hear :D
