What happens when you fall in love

originally posted last Jan 8, 2010 in my DA blog

What happens when you fall in love... with nature?:D

so hi everyone! it's me again! :D and i'm just going to do some blogging tonight. it's already 11.30 in the evening this time and i am still wide awake. I was just browsing over my email, cleaning to be particular, and i found the photos taken from a very beautiful place called Patalon. So i decided to download it and post some pictures here and let you all see the beauty of the place and to let you see the beauty of our country.

the place is indeed an excellent place. we stayed in the rest house of my very beloved friend which is a hunderd km away from the city [i think]. well anyway, this happened some few months ago when we were suppose to make our Programmed Game then decided to unwind for a while. so what happened is we did not sleep but instead, chose to work while our friends are enjoyinh the food, scene and merry making.

this is somekind the resting place where we can see the beach, tress, ski and the javuzzi.

we posed for a while to welcome the positive enrgy with in us. ofcourse, we were so happy with the place.

The owner of the rest house prepared our meal too! together with ma'am tisay and ma'am lany. we had so much fun eating the food.

just take a look at these:

The Sad Me

originally posted last Jan 23, 2010 in my DA blog

So i'm in the mood of depressing myself more. most likely because of a thing, a very important thing that might be taken away from me and from my calssmate. a chance to be nominated in the biggest animation festival here in our country

i was not able to sleep the other night, not even for a minute or two, hoping to finish our animation project that we will submit on the next day. everyone is so happy seeing us making our vector characters as well us in tracing the backgrounds, preparing the color palettes and in choosing the sound effects for the show and for the demo reel.

and because of that, mw and my classmate stayed inpired by their friendly thoughts.

the night came when we thought that we will not sleep to make it happen. and yes. it raelly did happen. at first we had a good time talikng with each other while we prepare the project plus talking to our other classmates. we had a fun time eating Mars, Sneakers, Baby Ruth and other chocolate bars we love. plus not to mention the yummy midnight

dinner :XD:

12 hours before the time:
we were so happy to see the outputs. one by one, frame by frame, time by time, we did our  best. we're still eating this time. had a break and checked our facebook accounts :)

11 hours before the time:
we roughly worked harder in my laptop tracing and animating already.

10 hours before the time:
we changed the 1st and 2nd scenes in the flat screen desktop computer. the memory there is much better for rendering the videos and etc.] and prepared the soundtracks.

9 hours:
we're trying to edit evrything in Adobe Premiere. i mean the first and last scenes. we were trying to keep our eyes awake. [of course, we did not cut our wrists and put on lemon fruit juice] haha

8 hours before the time:
iwe're freezing to death because of the aircoditioner. gahd :XD: then we're still okay and optimist :)

7 hours before the time
the sun already rising and we're still not yet done.

6,5,4,3 hours before the time
- we're still optimist. and our friends kept on telling us that we can do it! and they're all proud of us. [i so love my classmates. thank you micco, raymond, feriza, anette and greggi.]

2 hours before the time
- we're rendering the last scene and the estimated time of render? a shocking 19 hours of waiting :noes: and with that, we said goodbye to hope.

1 hour:
the two of us are dead tired. trying to consume ore energy from the environment. i tried and i think my classmate is exhausted from the days work. i let him sleep. he really needs it and ofcourse, i love my classmate and it's time is the only thing he needs. and i gave him the time to sleep.

minutes before the time, i managed to make it though even if we're lacking two scenes. and every projects made in

premiere are not so good. tried to copy it in a DVD as fast as i could and made it.

texted my feriza and anette to meet me at the university back gate since i failed to bring my ID. they responded

quickly and i so love them.

they passed the DVD for us. and then we're down to bed.

the output is not so good but we're still thankful that we were able to submit. thank you dear GOD. :)

Note from me: guys, time is really precious so if ever your schedules are tight, please pelase please, take this from me:

Do everything you can to manage your time.

as i tried to imagine the importance of time, i was reminded by a very beautiful powerpoint presentation that i was able to read in our desktop computer.

it goes like this:

There was a teacher who stood in front of his very brilliant minded students. after a minute of talking, he produced about a dozen of fist-sized rocks and also got a very big, wide-mouthed far. he then palced all the big rocks inside the jar. after filling it, he asked his students,

"Is this jar full?"

evryone asnwered in chorus with a resoundign "YES!"

then the teacher got his prepared pale of gravel under his table and put it inside the jar which made the gravel have a place between those big rocks.

then he asked again,"is the jar full?". then one student answere, "i think not."

then he was impressed that he also got a pail of sand. then he poured it inside the jar and tapped the jar thrice

tho let the tiny pieces have a space between the gravels.

then he asked for the third time, "It this jar full?" then again, whole class spoke and said, "No."

then he said good. he then got a pitcher full of water and put it iside the jar until the jar is filled up with rocks, gravel, sand and water.

then he asked them of what is the point of that. then one student immediately stood up and said,

"no matter how tight your schedule is, you will still manage to fit everything together in a minimal amount of time."

the teacher disagreed and told them the real maning of that,

" The point is, if you don't put the big rocks in first, " . . . would you ever have gotten any of them in?"

well my dear friends, i suppose you heard this story already but i just want to remind you all that you have to say yes to your big rocks first as your grains, sands and waters of your life will just perfectly fit inside your schedule without any problems :)

thanks for readng
