Dear Jude,

32 years ago, my parents asked for a healthy child again. And I was born. 31 years ago, I asked for happiness, He gave me a family. 29 years ago, I asked God for a good future. He gave me education. 25 years ago, I asked for experiences. He gave me leadership to work on. 20 years ago, I asked for inspirations then God gave me a bunch of crushes. Weird and funny but it helped me. :) 13 years ago, I asked God for a stable job. He then gave me a diploma. 10 years passed. 8 years. Then 7, 6,5,4,3,2--- all went well. Then just this morning, I asked God to have a talk with you, and then here it is. The letter that I wrote is with you now. Read this carefully and put everything I will tell you close to your heart.

All that I wished belongs to me. And this thing is the thing that I can promise you. That everything that I have belongs to you too. Because I am you- Just older.

I know that you will be so shocked when you will read the date present in this letter. Yes. I am really you. Only 32 years older. I'm from the future. And you have to believe me. I am here to help you and not to bring any harm in your imagination nor in your life. You want some proofs? I'll tell some secrets that only we know. And I am still keeping these things secret until now. And I hope that it will make you happier.

We use to have a twin that was born two days before we were born. Yes. I am still calling him Twin until now and he's still alive. So don't worry. Next, in your time, there are a couple of people that you don't really like much. I can still remember our feelings whenever we were being annoyed by them. With their silly attitudes, and stuffs like that and you can't still forgive someone for killing your animal for a laboratory exercise. I'm pretty sure that you had a hard time looking for a replacement with your partner. But nevertheless, you were so happy when you managed to have not just one but three replacements! You always put your time over the internet rather than studying. And when mama and papa is texting you and asking you if you're studying, you keep on telling them "yes!" even if you are not even bothering doing it. Well, I guess those are enough.

And this paragraph, will make you believe that you and me are just one. Can you still remember when your friend asked you on how to open a love letter? I also used the same format I gave her so that I can also open the my love letter for you.

And I hope that you believe me now. And you really have to believe me because I am really you. Again, I want to remind you that I am just 32 years older than the 18 you.

Before anything else, I have some good news for you.  I am now living in the year 2042 as stated in the date in the letter. And for heaven's sake, I haven't able to meet the end of the world. You're still living in 2010 right? So don't be afraid. Because the 2012 prophecy is not really true. Another good news, your toe nails are still complete and well groomed! I know how you love your nails even if you sometimes fail to have it pedicured. Well, seeing my nails clean will always make mom happy right? She still loves our toenails. Teehee. I did not dye my hair. Not even once. So it's really amazing. Good thing that we were able to get dad's hair characteristics. Haha.

Paopao is big now. And he's doing really great in school. Our nephew's is continuing the Roxas' legacy of excellence. Of course, our sisters and brother are in the good mood always. This is the impact of being in a happy family perhaps.

Here's more good news from me to you! You will continue meeting great people in your life. Continue to blog. You will also meet many great people in the blogosphere. And yeah! Another great news. Fella is 41 years old now and you will also meet many deviants during the deviantmeets. Well, enough for this thing as I don't want to spoil your future. But remember, great adventures lie ahead, ;)

But of course, for you to experience the experiences I am experiencing now, please take the following notes from me. After all, its me who can give more advices for you because I had lived with it. In layman's point of view, let me just say that there's more to believe in the experienced person.

Spend more time with your family. As much as possible, if you have time during weekends, go back to the house where you can really experience home. There's more to see and experience with your family. Just imagine the food that mama will make. The company papa will give you. The playful moments with our kuya and Paopao and to call our ates while they are in their works. Just imagine being with them for at least 4 days in a month. Isn't that great? I can still remember when we were still in second year college that you did not even bothered going back home because we feel so tired and exhausted riding the bus. But then, after all the experiences I had, I learned that there's no such place like home.

Spend more time with our family please. I know that it's in ourselves already that we cry while we blog on how we miss our family so much. But those tears will eventually turn into smiles when you will experience their loving arms as they welcome you back into our home. Their warm kisses- so good to feel. And oh btw, did I mentioned that our home is still here? I am now encoding this letter in our bed while you are there in Zamboanga reading this letter. Haha.

Another thought: do whatever you can do to make mama and papa happy. I will not tell you when they will leave but surely, right after you read this, text them and call them and tell them how much you really love them. And thank them for everything that they have done for you. I am also crying when Im writing this letter for you. I can remember the happy moments with mama and papa. I am not doing this to make you cry. I just want you to feel that we are the luckiest son in the world for having such a wonderful parents and family. Remember, they are in their 50's while you are reading this thing. And I'm 54 now. Get the point?

Please help them save money for your future and do well in your studies. I will always remember everything that papa told us. That the only thing that he can give for us is our diploma. Yes! With our diploma, I am really sure that their support is there. All the support from Mama, Papa, Kuya and Ate are there journeying with us as we try to reach our goals in life. Isn't that the best gift we can receive?

Commit to your memory their laughters and happy moments. Their tender loving care. The way they look at you like a treasured gold. And their love will always be the source of love that rotates within the family.

Some piece of advice about your education, no matter how you hate a particular subject, learn to love them. It's just a matter of throwing a dice and you want to get a number one to be able to win the game then you got six. From that, you step to the winner's place then go back 4 steps back from there. But then, always remember that there are second chances and that you must burn the flame burning and to be determined to win no matter what without hurting anyone in the process. And those hated subjects will just play like darkness in your life. But remember too that making dreams come true is a long shot in the dark. And don't put too much pressure in hating some people. Remember, you will be with them in the rest of your college years. Just be good to them and they will also be good to you. Trust me. This has been proven by me.

Remember also that God will always love you even if you sometimes forget to go to Church and pray. But as long as you will ask for his love and forgiveness, you will always feel His healing power. And don't be too pressured when you have mistakes. Learn from it as many are saying, "We're just humans". We know how to make mistakes and the best part is that, we also know how to learn from it. So be proud! God will always be there for you. He will always be on guard no matter what. He wants you to have meaningful life.

Don't be afraid to let others know the real you. Be sure to open your life like an open book once in a while. In your life, you will experience pride, betrayal and judgments. But the best part is yet to come. That the persons who really love you will always stay with you no matter what.

Lastly, enjoy your youth. Do not be afraid to try new things. Make more friends, laugh till cry and be amazed in the perfect world that you deserve. Make everyone proud in every thing that you do for from that, you can have the real you.

Thanks to the great technologists who created this invention so that I can send this letter for you from the future. Haha. But yeah, let yourself write our good future. I'm just here to help you make it happen.

Hugs for you buddy and good luck as you write the best book in our life.

With much love and care,
Jude from the future
